how much do spintechs cost?

when i first threw an exhaust on my car, i went with the flowmasters. i took it to a shop that sold spintechs. they installed my flows but kept on telling me that the spintechs were the way to go. i just figured that they were trying to make a sale so i was like whatever. one day the owner told me that he'd give me a good deal on the spintechs and that if i didn't like them, he'd refund me half of the cash and swap back my flowmasters. let's just say i went home with the flowmasters in my trunk and not under my car. spintechs are the sh*t.</P>

bigbadracer808, Man is addictiveright?.. that tone is so different from anything I've heard, is a huge rumble and no rattling at all even when I am running an O/R x pipe..Flows are a baby in comparison..Same happened to me a few days ago when I took my beast to the Speedshop and told the guy to install the Magnaslows....He just did it without saying anything. I got my car that afternoon and they said "the car sounds different know" without going into details. So I said great, a new rumble!..Not!! .I turned the ignition and itstarted and soundedlike a dam Civic ...I was so upset on my way home.I called the guy the next AM and told him that I wanted to go back to my flows, he said that I should have known that magnaflow is just a bigname that their Performance mufflers are too quiet for somepeople's taste..then he said, "I have some Spintechs here", i didnt what those were. He said they are as nice as Flowsbut with10-15% performance gain, they are high flow mufflers.Then he said" I'll let you listen to my MAch1 exhaust tone tomorrow and you let me know"..the rest is history. I wouldnt say that.hes a hotrodder, he owns several Mustangs, some of them for racing, and knows what he's talking about, that shop in not just a Meineke, run of the mill shop, it is a speed shop <IMG onclick="AddSmileyIcon'smileys/smiley2.gif'" alt=Wink src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">and I bought them not because he convinced me, I did it because I saw the facts!!.. </P>

I have the Spintech's on my 65. Just posted a short video in the video section. You can hear them fairly well. Sounds great with head phones. Just go to "first sub 10's last year".
Oh and watch for the quick N2O purges...
