suggestions for the ROTM contests.
so, ROTM has been screwed up for a while, first with polls not working, then the side bar format changing, and ive been sick as hell lately and its gotten behind. it seems to take forever to get nominations and such...
does anyone have suggestions on how to tighten up the contest a bit?

On another forum they pick 3 cars and have them compete against each other for a month. Then the winner picks another 3 cars to compete and so on. No car is allowed to be picked twice in a year.
We could probably pick 5 cars. They also have their competition by exterior only, not by how much the person spent, what engine it has, and what has been done to the interior.

Problem with ROTM on this site is that it's pretty much the same members that get nominated cause most of us have been on here for a while, and rarely do noobs get noticed. So in short, a lot of us quit caring about ROTM because it's pretty much a popularity contest, not a real contest for best car.

another way to tighten it up and get more intrest would be to make it higher on the main page. im sure many noobs never scroll down this far, they scroll to their cars section and stop there
