This is a tough month. being that the theme is wheels, I don't feel like like focusing on other aspects of my car and when it comes to wheels, I have to admit that while I like my wheels, I don't exactly love them. The choice for me was more of a functional choice, getting 18x9 @ 18x10 since the tire options in 18" was greater than 19's or 20's, plus there weren't many 18's that stated they would clear big brake kits. Another thing I was looking for was ease of cleaning, and while chrome is not popular right now, it really cleans up nice and easy, and the wide spoke pattern help with getting the towel in between the spokes.
But again, I like them but can't say I wouldn't trade them for anything, because I'd like a set of forged wheels that have better balance, of all the wheels shown off in this thread the closest to what I'd love are the Supersnake Alcoa's... I almost bought a set of the 18's last fall when they were being cleared out by Ford racing.
But the Ford GT style are good enough, and they're inexpensive, so I've got a second set wrapped in sticky Falcon Azenis RT-615K's for when I want to really push the power I've got available. (if you're bored and want to watch in-car video of a high speed run, click the image below to go to youtube, then set it for 1080p)
