Our 65 is an A code coupe, factory 4 bbl with factory AC, PS, PB and vinyl top. Lola still has most of her original paint and all of her original sheet metal with no rust through.

One of the most interesting things about the car is that it was a lease car, sold by Cort Fox Ford in Hollywood, CA to Transamerica Leasing. Would love to know the rest of the story about who drove a leased Mustang in Hollywood.

So far we have pulled the engine to detail the engine bay - somewhere along the way it had been painted Ford blue instead of the correct black/gold. Compression was good, doesn't smoke and the engine looked clean inside so paint was all she got. This was taken prior to adding the decals.

Full front suspension rebuild and brake job have been completed. I'm working on the rear suspension now.

Staying with drum brakes for now, may upgrade later.

Hoping to get interior and paint finished this summer. Looking forward to having her complete.
