I just ordered a Roush Supercharger for my 2016 GT. (1.) I've heard of a 640 HP tune for that supercharger that is rated at 670 HP. Can you tell me anything about it as opposed to the 670 HP tune?
(2.) Also do you know if you accidentally put 87 octane in a 5.0L with the Roush Supercharger setup does the engine adjust for it as it does with a standard Ford 5.0L Coyote engine. The 5.0L runs well on either 87 or 91 octane with no problems I can see! Ford says it is not a problem other than some HP loss.
(3.) Is it possible to save the Roush Supercharger tune on a hand held device as is done with a stock tune when you buy a canned after market tune! The reason I ask is that if I take a cross country trip & the ECU computer fails I could be in a town called "One Stop Light, Montana" & have to wait for a new CPU to be send round trip to Roush & back to a the local mechanic. It would be nice to have the tune on a hand held unit to load on to a new CPU. Yes, I'm a worrier.... but such things do happen!
....... & why are you up so late Kyle? I have insomnia! What's your excuse?

Sorry,
I do not advise driving the vehicle with 87. 91 is ok if thats all you can get in your location but 93 is best, the tune cannot be put onto a handheld it must be done with a pass through device using RDT software.
As for sponsorship information please call up and speak with Nic Shafer in marketing.
