What's the $900.00 appraised from? Does it include paint and labor from the dealer? I can't imagine a hood is that much. Just a side thought too, I've seen several people get new AM hoods and sell the stocks on craigslist for less than $200.

I would have to agree about the Cervini hoods.....little to no fitment issues, which is what I was most worried about!!! They have several different styles to choose from, you should browse their website.

I should be getting my car back from the bodyshop this week. If some of you remember my post about hitting Bambi a couple of weeks ago,
I had the shop order the Cervini 2.5" cowl hood instead of the factory hood. saved 500 bucks doing it. I will post picks when I GET IT BACK

Damn you guys and your good luck.

Every time I've had a vehicle of mine hit, the place fixing the car won't let me upgrade with aftermarket parts. Sucks knowing that so much of the money insurance is paying is going right back towards stock parts.

I dont see the issue, I went in and told the bodyshop that for the cost of a new factory hood $1007.00 compaired to the cost of the Cervin hood $495, I want the Cervini hood. He didnt even blink an eye at it. Actually he wanted to get a steel cowl hood but I stood firm and said no, I want the Cervini.
