Yeah i agree with the learning about your car. It's true, because if something starts messing up at some point, i can figure it out on my own since i tore it apart lol. I wonder what type of double sided tape is needed for that kit. I took kit to two body shops to get a quote...$600 at both places!!! Hell that's a lot of money

Other than washing the car so the fender flares and such can be taped to a clean surface, is there anything else to do for preparation?

wipe down parts that will be taped to with prep-all. It will stip the wax and make a nice clean surface to stick on.
Any quality kit shouldnt be difficult to install. Its when you get into the cheaper stuff where modification needs to be done, that takes time

The body kit has all the used double tape attached to it and its really sticky and dirty. Even when taken off, im afraid the tape might not completely stick to body. Should i sand the kit down where the tape will go on or what?

I dont think the install should be that bad. As long as you have a nice weekend to knock her out. Since you have a friend helping and good tools it shouldnt be hard at all. Just make sure your friend takes it serious, and does a good job helping you. Dont forget to post up tons of pics!
