Default Got my new 18" Black Deep Dish Bullets on last night w/pics

Well after having some trouble with stupid UPS I finally got my rims and tires late last night and me and my friend put them on.
The Rims are OE Wheel Distribution Brand 18X9 up front with Nitto Invo 255/45-18 tires, Rear are 18X10 with Nitto Invo 275/40/18 Tires.
Just a quick ?, I had new tpms sensors put on these new rims, but I didn't get the tpms error message from these new rims. Is it possible for the car just to recognize the new sensors without any programming at all? Also when you guys added aftermarket rims did you remove the star shaped thing holding on the rotor on each of the rims at one of the bolts. Cause I didn't do that and am noticing some wobbling when I go about 60mph.
Star thing holding rotor. Should I remove these?

Nice rims! Nice touch with the black lugs.
I learned the hard way about that star clip.I bought a new Ranger with aftermarket rims and they forgot to remove that dumb little clip, rumbled all the time.Removing it will not do any damage.
I ran about 40 miles before my sensors tripped the computer before resetting.
What are your wheel offsets? The wheels fill up the wells really nice.

The wheel offset are +45mm for the rear rims, and 36mm for the front. Guess I have to pull the rims off and remove those star things.

I just got my wheels installed on Friday. 18 inch black bullets as well and I too noticed some wobbling of the steering wheel around 60mph. I actually took it to the shop yesterday to get the tires rebalanced but it's still doing it. Is that thing on every wheel?

Also, can someone clarify what exactly these star things are? I will take my car back to the alignment shop tonight and ask them to remove them but I want to be sure I know what the heck I'm talking about. Thanks!

Yes I can, and "YES" take them off!!!! Those are retaining clips put on during by the factory on the line to keep the rotors from falling off as the car moved down the assembly line. They are not needed and "will" cause issues like wobble when mounting after markit wheels. Some of your rotors may have more than one and some many not have any at all but if you see them, remove them right away.

Thanks! Oh and yes, I have the TPMS sensors installed as well and was all happy when I didn't get a warning but, as someone else has said, it started going off after about 40 miles. The dealer should be able to calibrate it for you.

You can use a sharp flat punch and a hammer to cut the clips on opposite sides rather than screwing around with bending the fins so it will spin off, if I am stating the obvious I apologize. These clips wont let the wheels sit flat so they must be removed and I found that to be the easiest way.

Very nice rims, congrats. Just yank the clips off with a pair of needle nose pliers.
