does anyone know if you can use this as a replacement for the vortech v3 filter?

Roush Vent Gauge Pods, Auto Meter Cobalt Wide Band & Boost/Vac Gauges[/color] IVA 505 Navi, halo fogs

Soon: IC, Aluminum drive shaft by coastline & lowering springs-- HOOD, Wheels, Tires, Brakes

I haven't been under the hood of any of the newer stangs "in person." What's the tube coming from around the rear of the shaker and extending over by the filter?

That's part of the shaker tubing. Shaker takes in the air and it comes out on top of the filter.

I was lucky enough to buy my shaker used with that pipe already set-up. I bought it from Toy4Bob and I believe he said he had a local exhaust shop fabricate it up.
