That Sounds like an awful alot of work! I made things easier on myself and bout a set of precut smoked tint for my car, it took all of 10 minutes start to finish.
Sometimes it is nice to be able to say, "hey, I made that" instead of "I purchased this online for $100 when I could have done it myself for $10 plus a little elbow grease." I'm not knocking you, to each their own. I like to do everything I can for my car instead of buying everything and paying more, my wallet isn't that deep!

I simply bought the 35% and the 20% or whatever
I am going to hold them both against the break light and see how they look.
Then I'm gonna return the one I decided not to go with.
That simple. As long as the roll is not cut you can just glue the packing back together and return it to Wal Mart for a refund

How long did it take you to use the niteshade? Did you follow the how-to that is posted on the forum? I'm going to try tinting my tails after work today, got to make up my mind film/spray before I head to the auto store!
yes I used the write up to a T. It took me a few hours from start to finish and have yet to polish it. I ended up making it too dark the first time around so I took some acetone to it and stripped it off and started over and it came out a lot better the second time around. I ended up using 5 coats of VHT and its super dark so I wouldn't recommend anything over 5 coats. If im not too tired tonight im going to wet sand it and buff it.

^yeah i used 20% from walmart too, all i used was dish soap and water. took about an hour to do both tail lights, if you mess up just throw that piece out and do it again.
