looks good. I did this to my coupe, but kept the spoiler on the vert.

I think I would have a body shop fill them if I were to do this as I am a picky bastard when it comes to small imperfections.

I just used black tape from the inside.
Not the most effective way, but it works wonders.
Been through snow and rain and it didn't leak.
Of course it is just a "temporary" fix that has been on the car for a year now!

i had the electric tape fix untill i got the right sized plug and washers to hold them tight, that lasted about 8-9 months and i love it gone for good cant imagine why youd want a spoiler, without the top down the rear view out the window is small enough, you can see way better in a coupe. but either way it just looks better.
just be sure its a good body shop that does it as if its not filled properly it looks funny, also i hated the satelight radio antenna thingy too.

I also removed my rear spoiler recently. I painted the small plugs and used a very small amount of silicon (underneath) to seal it, with small pieces of rubber hose to hold them from the bottom.

I probably won't remove my spoiler, but if I did, I would cover the holes with a low cost option that would look good too...just add a couple of Mustang badges over the holes.

I removed the spoiler the day we picked up our 2006 GT convertible. I did the black tape underneath for a couple of days before I could remove all the items attached to the trunk lid and dropped it off at a body shop to be welded, filled, and painted.

I'm not sure why they put these things on, the car looks so much better without it.
