Default gave the VHT nightshades a shot...

!!! PICS ARE UP OF FINISHED PRODUCT ON PAGE TWO !!!

got a wild hair up my.....well, and decided to give this a shot.
going for all black/white and was thinking about tint strips or covers, but blah--boring. so i went this route! tails and third brake light... i know i know, no going back if i turns out bad but oh well, i wanted to do something. let me know what you all think about it. i think it looks good so far, drying the clear overnight and i'll finish when im done with work tomorrow.

oh and i decided that i'd leave the reverse lights clear, no VHT. i like the way it looks, cant wait to polish these babies up!

no room in garage tonight, she's all taped up! haha

Nice! I want to do this but I am worried about it not turning out at black as I want it... How many coats did you do? I was thinking about buying the spray on tint from AM but wanted to see it in action first, this looks close enough... great job!

It will look nice when done. You will want to finish the center off black to finish the look. Good luck my Performance White brother!

well car is done, its a little after 2am. hahah got a lil drunk on the golf course after work and our 4some ended up with a 5 hour round. ha. finally got home bout 11 and finished them up. the tails look awesome, not too dark, but not too light. the finish lets the light shine thru very well too. i might look for another 3rd brake light, because i think i went too dark on that piece. it was the first one i did and well, its pretty much black, lol. but light still comes thru well on it also.

will try to have pics up tomorrow afternoon, it started storming right when i iwas putting it all back together, and then the damn battery was dead....my fault i left the stereo on while i was working and forgot all about it, haha.

black out panel will come here within next few weeks, i'll have to make up my mind on which one i want....too many to choose from
