Well Joe, that's them little things...
It's very doable but I'll say it again, it has to be a one piece tail section for it to look right.

That's why the 05 concept car was built that way...
You can't separate the tail lights or it will look like a late model T-bird.

I wish they'd put the concept rear on the 010s, I'd have one in the driveway as I post this.

Here are a couple of pics of the real deal (68 and 05 concept)

As other's have commented... poor execution.

Good idea, though.

I wonder if the rear trunk lid can be trimmed, and a single one piece tail section put in place?

+1 to Pascal's comment. If they had put the concept's tail on the '10 Stang, I'd have bought one already. Those lights look great. The Retromod ones and the pics of the Orange one look like hell. The front end of the Retromod one looks fantastic though!

I still think the concept had the best tail lights. They remind me of my Cougar's lights.
