Default roush rear valance

hey guys, i bought the roush rear valance and have everything painted and have the square tips. Has anyone custom made a borla or frpp exhaust work with this kit? I plan on taking the bumper off thursday and cutting and installing the valance, of course the borla tips are going to be cut but i was just wondering if anyone has done this before or has pics, i am curious of how much work it is, i have all the tools to do it on my own but want to know how hard it is. (BTW im speaking of the mufflers) valance seems to be fairly simple.

lol its funny that you ask! i have done exactly that...

let me see if i can dig up a pic for you.....

im at work right now and dont seem to have any pics on this comp or my photobucket BUT as soon as i get home ill post up the pic i took from under the car the day we did the modifiction....

first, you probably already know, but your valance will need to be installed first so you know where your muffler tips need to be positioned...

all the mod consists of is cutting off the oval tips as well as the curved tubing so all you have in your hand is the muffler section (MAKE SURE YOU MARK WHICH END IS THE FRONT AND WHICH IS THE REAR!!!)...muffler stands will come in handy for this next part....

after you lift the car up, youll use your muffler stands and position them where they will be straight and the square tips sit inside the rectangular cutouts in the valance (probably parallel to both sides of the gas tank [thats where mine are])...from here, you will need to custom weld your own curved tubing to connect the end of the over-axle pipe (clamps on this end) to the front part of the muffler being careful that your square tips stay in position in the cutouts...once this is done, weld on your hangers, 2 on each side, and there you go!...

not a really tough job, just takes some patience and a little welding experience and you can get the job done....

Pascal from here on the forums helped me do mine...excellent guy to work with....

I'll take care off him Mike for now...

I lost a lot of pics of that job when my DELL crashed.

OP, you have to re-angle the mufflers in order for those Roush tips to align.
Said mufflers have to be parallel to the frame rails.
Hope you know how to weld...
