ouch on your last post.......j/k. I love the c series hood but I too caved and got the GTS3 hood for functionality esp since I have FI. Ram air and heat extractors are the way to go..... the many hoods are interchangeable with the C-series kit esp those from Cervini. I hate sounding like a broken record but I have yet to get the trufiber hood painted and thinking about selling it for the type IV that I originally wanted. Only reason I went with the Trufiber was the fact it was free......it will look amazing on any color esp black! go for it

No offense intended! lol I think your car looks awesome, it's one of the first that I came across when I decided to look into the C-Series kit, and it helped me decide to go for it.
Have you test fitted the TruFiber hood? You should be able to get enough money to fund most of the Type IV hood if you do decide to go that route... Keep us updated!

Yup the test fit is spot on the waviness is terrible though and the prep and install with stripes buried in clear and wet sanded will cost 1300 bucks. Not what I was hoping for with just a hood.....esp since the whole kit with essentially the whole top of the car re cleared and wet sanded (and thats alot of pieces of plastic and fiberglass) cost 4000 bucks. So this would be about 27% of what it originally cost to get everything done? Sucks but true and not something I want to eat at this point or any point in the near future. 2 hrs of the 24 requires to "prep" the hood are done too and the baking of it as well. 22 more hrs to go (there is an end)!!!!
I will let you know if I sell it and go the Cervini way!

If you go Cervini J, get it painted.
Their quality paint job is very good, it's worth it IMO.
Only thing, you have to ask them to shoot the underneath if not they won't do it.
