Default Aftermarket Hood Quality

I'm considering buying a fiberglass hood with Heat extractor vents. But several people have warned me away from any manufacturer EXCEPT Cervini. Problem is, I don't like the designs Cervini offers. Has anyone had any experience with the Keystone Good Hood "Boy Racer" style, or the AIT Racing Heat Extractor hood, which is similar to the Boy Racer, but a bit more extreme?

Or, what I'd REALLY like, is a hood that's stock height, with no bulges, but with two "heat extractor" vents, like the Saleen or Cobra GT500. Has anyone seen anything like that? (I know I could just get the GT500 take off hood, but it won't fit the stock Mustang without also getting the GT500 front fascia, and I can't afford both right now.)

If you like the Saleen hood, keep an eye out on eBay. they pop up occasionally for fairly cheap.

What about the comment to avoid anyone but Cervini? I've noticed a few TruFiber hoods on the forum, so they can't be all bad.

the cervini hoods are a much better quality hood copaired to the TruFiber, I have a cervini hood on my car and my brother has a truefiber. He will even admit my hood is a more solid peace of fiberglass

My body shop was amazed at the quality of the Cervini. Very little prep was needed and it came out looking great.

Looking for something like this? 3dCarbon, Boy Racer Hood. Just what the doctor ordered.
