Default I need/want a new rear bumper.

I want to purchase a new rear bumper, but I have some questions. Hopefully you guys can assist me. .. I am highly interested in the Shelby GT500 rear bumper. I was noticing that the GT/CS has a similar bumper, as well. Are they the same bumper? If so, would it fit my '08 GT? .. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

They are indeed the same bumper. The only difference is what is painted and what isn't painted on each model. It would fit onto your GT without problem.

the diffuser area of the GT500 cover is black and textured
part# 7R3Z-17K835-BAPTM and retails for $602.55
the diffuser area of the California Special cover is smooth and paintable
part# 6R3Z-6320049-BA and retails for $355.00, this is a kit that includes the attaching
hardware.

What's included with "attaching hardware"? If you just buy one of the bumpers, can you not use the existing hardware on your car?

the kit just comes with bolts, nuts, push pins, if you buy just the cover
part# 7R3Z-17K835-AAPTM it retails for $466.00 and comes without hardware.

Thanks for the info. If they are both the same bumper, except for certain sections that are and aren't painted, I think that I might go with the CS one instead since it is cheaper. Would I be able to purchase just the bumper itself without the hardware or does it need the additional hardware to be fully compatible with it?

Thanks for all the assistance, once again. It's highly appreciated and helpful.
