Default Hood pins and stock GT hoods

I did a quick search, didn't see anything that answers my question:

Will hood pins wallow (waller if yer here in the south) out the holes you drill in a stock GT hood?

I love the look, but also, I've noticed some hood shake at 80-85 mph and up. We've tightened, adjusted, fooled and farted with the hood, and its still doing it.

My brother the body shop guy claims hood pins will eventually wallow out the holes and refuses to drill for me. I bet my husband would install them for me. If worse comes to worse, I could probably do it myself. Before I haul out the big guns and dig in on the idea of pins, what can you guys tell me about the pins and what happens as time goes by?
