Doesn't look very balanced. What's cool about the GT500 fascia is that the upper and lower grille look like one large opening with the bumper across it. The width of the top of the lower grille and the bottom of the upper grille are aligned. It has a visual continuity that the T1 is lacking. The problem is worse with the comparison to suoperdave84's sig right below your pic. Next to suoperdave84's nice clean tasteful lines the T1 looks like an awkward teen with a smile fulla braces.

Just being honest here.

Haha....thanks!

I'm looking at the T1 bumper as well and I'm going to match it with the Trufiber GTS 4 Hood. Right now I have the CDC Grille with no fogs. I plan on using the CDC grille with the T1 bumper. I know the top Grille will fit. I just need to see about the bottom grille.

If there isnt one out already it shouldnt me difficult to make one. Find some aluminum stripes and bend and trim and weld. Might not be something you (or myself) can do but it shouldnt be hard to get done, then powder coat it.
My guess is if you take the ugly grille thats on it to a maching shop or body shop they could fab one up.

Not a good idea for street use, a little tap and you have a mess on your hands.
Overall, not a bad looking bumper
WHY????? Trufiber needs to stay away from fiberglass IMO

And shadow this was taken from the entire body kit description....

"The Trufiber T1 body kits utilize a front bumper replacement that resembles the Shelby GT500 and can use your factory or any aftermarket grille inserts"

I don't know if that's just for the upper grille or if that applies to being able to use the GT500 lower grill as well...

I responded to your thread in the 2005+ section and think that the GTS3 will match perfectly with the T1.....save the cash and keep the bumper you have now and mod something else.....you selling your GTS3 hood? Let me know as it painted (mine is not) and would cost about 1300 more bucks to get mine correct with no waviness and show quality shine....love the design but hate the quality...I know I am not the only one here too that thinks this.....trust me

But then they'll have to call themselves Truluminum, and that just sounds stupid.

Btw I agreed with you on the other thread, use the money for a true GT500 front end instead of this bumper and a "new" hood

I dont like the lower grill "towers"
Go for the PJ Heritage if looking for the inexpensive way out of the GT500 conversion.

I still love that Heritage fascia. I plan on getting it as soon as I sell the rest of my leftover parts.
