I was thinking about using that intake with my cervinis hood, but the intake just cost too much for me at the time... I can take some pictures of the underside tomorrow if anyone wants, the scoops are open and don't channel the air anywhere unless you have the ram air kit.
This is the hood I have

How are the Cervini's hoods about keeping the under hood temps down? I know on Steeda's website they have some cowl hoods that are supposed to keep the heat down. I am not a huge fan of cowl hoods though, so I'm still looking at Cervini's for my hood. I want something that not many other people will have, but that I still like.

The only thing that hood will do for you is give you more clearance over the engine for a high rise intake (which you won't be doing since we're not carbed) or a big ole blower (which you may or may not have plans for). It has no extra provisions for heat extraction, or intake of cold air.
Personally, I think that's one of the ugliest hoods out there for these cars.
These aren't the best pictures, and I have no idea what happened to them when I uploaded them to Photobucket... But maybe you can get an idea from them...

Get the Trufiber GTSIII and have a body shop close the ram air opening and drill vent holes in the ram air channel directly in front or above the intake. This will force air right into the air channel.
