Default Painting my stockers!

So got bored this weekend and started painting my rims I used

3 cans flat black engine paint
2 cans clear coat engine paint
500 grit wet/dry sand paper
1000 grit wet/dry sand paper
thin roll of masking tape
wide roll masking tape
and newspaper for over spray

I pretty much followed the sticky but used different paint because I was worried about the heat.

Got some pictures of them sprayed and cleared. I taped off the ford emblem but I'm thinking of just buying some polished ones from AM.

I think they look better in person.

some finished pained pics

I'll get more with less glare. There is one run on one spoke but I will wet sand and respray later and I need to clean the paint paint line on some spots.

There cheap - vinyl overlays - these actually come off and on anytime you wish - I had tint all the way around and recently took it all off - going to go with a mixture of black and clear cote and paint them - they look sooooo much better painted
