Default Shesh... how the heck do you put the pony emblem on the stack racing grill

So my black fog light delete stack racing billet grill came in. I ordered the kit with the pony logo from American muscle. the instructions suck and obviously were not written by someone who speaks English as their primary language. Anyway, it only says install the emblem if you want lol. the problem is that I can't figure out how to install the dang thing.

It has pins on the back of the running pony, which is stamped Shelby on the back. It is supposed to be pushed into the black clips but eh problem is the clips don;t fit the grill in any way I can figure out. they are too thin to fit the vertical bars the horizontal grill fins are welded too and if you force them onto the flat horizontal fins they aren't long enough for the emblem pins to reach. WTF am i doing wrong here guys?

this is th ekit:

"Abhijit khullar
the installation will take a lot of time. not good bolts provided, i had to go to kragen and get new better bolts, on top of that the pony sign cannot be put on with the clamps provided,, i had to use crazy glue, and now when it fits perfectly it dun give that good look because you can see the whole radiator and everything behind the grill."

actually everyone in the customer reviews agrees that the hardware to mount the emblem sucks and to just use crazy glue or silicone

Sounds like you'll have to get creative on this one...
I wish AM. Muscle was a little more selective on some of the stuff they sell.
I got fog lights for a new edge customer Stang that were completely unusable.
The brackets were not even close to fit in.
With these guys, I only deal with wheels.
