Check mine out, I have black plastic taillight bezels around mine. They could be painted to match your car if you wanted with little effort. But they do create the effect you want.
Thanks for the pic and tip, Cutter. But as it turns out, this thread is pretty much completely voided by a cop that pulled me over yesterday for having front window tint (which was on the car when I bought it from the dealership) and not having a front plate. And then when he walked up to my car again he said he added the tail lights and wrote in "dark tail light covers" and for whatever reason marked that it is a non-correctable infraction...The worst part is I know he was just out looking for people. I had all this stuff on my car for nearly a year with no issues despite having cops follow me around for blocks. Plus as I pulled away from the curb and u-turned I saw he had already pulled over someone else half a block ahead. It's fine, shouldn't cost me too much to turn this around.
So anyway now instead of this I'm going to be working on stripping the tint off my windows, sticking on my license plate, and removing the VHT off my tail lights in hopes I can go in to monday and show how quick I got rid of it so they can write that one off too. Oh well, thanks anyway guys

he staggolee if yoyu dont wanna drill into your bumper call joe at chicane hes making a lisence plate mount that doesnt require drilling into the bumper its pretty cool
Thanks for the tip. There are holes in the bumper, I just neglected to put it on because I didn't have the correct screws and it became a low priority and just petered out. I'll still get in contact with Joe though because it sounds like it will help keep the car from looking like it has a buck tooth. Thanks again for the info
