Default LED plate bulb help

Just recently I took out my LED license plate bulb and when I put it back it would only blink on real quick when I turn on my lights. Tried to replace it with 2 others I had around the house and they did the same, even ordered a new one from a mustang website and it does the same thing. A stock one stays on but an LED just blinks on for a second. Anyone happen to know what could be the problem?

Thanks

well they go in 2 ways but only one is correct? Grab a bulb and switch it around twice and see if that works

Yeah one way it won't turn on at all, the other it only blinks for a second. I give up just going to leave a stocker in it.
