Default Steeda Brushed Aluminum Interior Trim Kit - 05-09

Has anybody installed one of these kits......the billet alum one or the carbon fiber one from American Muscle? http://www.americanmuscle.com/steeda...-aluminum.html

Silver horse racing has one too.... cost more too!

Am leaning towards the steeda alum kit from AM.

Silver horse one costs more because it has the parts that go over the airbag on pass side so far as i can tell. I plan to buy it because it it the only one i have found that covers the airbag area. i haven't installed, just wanted to point out part of the reason for the price diff.

Not to high jack your thread .
I noticed this on the AM site : Note: Console Trim will not fit 2008+ Mustangs with optional Ambient Lighting Feature.

Where can I find one with the ambient lighting cut out ??

Thanks

i have the carbon fiber one, looks good and as long as you take your time to install for proper fitment, it is a basic install just read the directions

do you mind posting pictures of it? close-ups and "establishing shots" (to show the whole dash/interior)

one of the dash guys on ebay, can't remember which one though. the parts are just the "stickon" version, i think you can choose between real and fake look, but it is all just the same parts, wish i had the money to do the whole thing in carbon fiber though

so this isn't the steeda one then.

I've read that the steeda carbon fibre one doesn't look right(the "fibres" aren't in a 45 degree angle, just like a straight checkerboard)

no it's not the steeda, i would check ebay and see if you like one, one pic had carbon fiber on everything expect airbage sect, middle ac, and gauges which were in aluminum and that looked pretty good
