anyone interested in swapping out trunk lids?

I like to get a trunk lid that doesn't have a spoiler or can someone educate me on how to get rid of the holes it leaves.

It looks pretty good, no problems so far with rain or snow.

Hey is it hard taking the spoiler off?

undo the four bolts in the trunk and use fishing line under the spoiler to break through the tape. Its like a whole 5 min job at the most

If its a real tight fit then maybe not but silicone is cheap and easy to pull off if you mess up. You would be better off with it as insurance.

Yes, it would probably leak, they do not fit super tight. I have also heard people using button head allen bolts, I would want to put some kind of rubber between it and the finish though.

I filled in a bunch of holes left behind from my Roush spoiler with some small black plastic like these I found at the auto parts store.. used silicone to stick them on.. They look fine.. no one has ever said.. hey what the heck are those black dots.. and if you have black no one would ever see them..
