Default Gold painted calipers

yesterday, i decided to clean and paint the stock calipers on my '07 GT before they get too dirty or rusty. I chose Duplicolor gold engine paint with a topcoat of Duplicolor clear.
The process was fairly simple, though i realized the importance of getting every bit of grease off the metal before spraying. i did a test spray on the first caliper and saw some fisheye forming, so wiped them all down once more with brake cleaner and then some metal paint prep product i always use. The paint stuck well after that.
I found the duplicolor gold to cover quite well and a single can did the whole project and there's probably enough for touch ups in the future if needed.

here are some before and after:

I am happy with the results!

That actually looks really nice. I like it, and its different. Do you have any shots of the full side profile of the car with the gold calipers? Gold stripes and a tan leather interior in a black vert would be the perfect candidate for gold calipers. Kudos to you sir, good work!

Looks nice, the gold isnt a favorite but it still looks great. Did you just tape off around the calipers or did you remove them to paint?
also some matching gold rocker panel stripes would make it look even better!

That reminds me of a black 2010 I saw the other day that had gold racing stripes and a hood scoop, it was a real head-turner going down the street.
