Well OEM would be parts actually made by the manufacturer (Ford, in this case) whereas replacement parts are parts made by other makers that are meant to look and act the same as the OEM parts. Replacement parts are usually less expensive.

There are OEM parts that are not manufactured by Ford, but are used by Ford when they assemble the car. In other words they are original equipment on the car. An aftermarket part is manufactured by a company other than the company that supplies the part to Ford.

To further complicate it a bit, an OEM might also manufacture parts that were not used by Ford, but the manufacturer might say they are an OEM. So both the company and the particular part need to have been used by Ford for the part to be considered truly "original equipment."

I have never dealt with them, but have heard that Tousley Ford is a good dealership. Suggest you find out what their price is. http://www.tousleyford.com.
