Default GT500 Spoiler, didn't quite get it on right. what to do?

I put on my GT500 spoiler last night to replace the stock GT spoiler. It all went very well....except.....

As I removed the red plastic off of the tape the right side of the spoiler moved slightly forward and stuck down, and there was nothin doing move it to the right position. It's hardly off, but it is just enough that

it has made it so the right corner of the spoiler sits up a few millimeters and the tape wont stick on the front for 2 inches from the right corner moving left.

It's really no big deal, it's not going anywhere and it is bolted down...... I'm just worried over time that more tape will start coming up and a lot of water will get under there.

So, is there some product I can fill that gap with? Maybe silicone, or even better an adhesive to fill the gap that won't hurt the paint if I try to remove it later?

What should I do?

Maybe there's some 3M tape in gel form? Or maybe I can get some more tape under
there or something?

Might not be a bad idea to pull it off and redo it with new tape. Probably quite a PITA though. a little clear silicone isnt a bad idea though

I would take it off and do it again.

Really? It's only such a small area not sticking down. Hmmm. I'll have to think this over.

I wouldn't redo it. It's probably fine. It seems like there are a few areas where my tape doesn't completely touch I believe. I'll have to go look at mine again.

The tape on the end of mine isnt stuck down to the trunk deck either and I have no problems with water or anything.Alot of people have that problem. As long as its not noticeably crooked I wouldnt worry about it

Yeah, it doesn't look bad at all.

I was most worried about water or heat over time making more of the adhesive come up because it's slightly exposed.

I'll leave it...and if it ever does come up.....well I guess I can take it off and redo it then.

Thanks.
