Forgive my ignorance, but these don't marry themselves to a car's ECM? What would one have to do to get this to work on their car specifically? Reason for asking is I'm considering a tuner as a next purchase and maybe someone out there is thinking these same questions.

all tuners, lock themself automaticly when u load a tune and unlocks itself when u return the car back to stock. this one is unlocked. what u need to do is call a shop like brenspeed. and tell them what ur mods are and they will email u a tune. u load it to the this tool and then into the car. really easy and fast.
