Default 5R55S Automatic Transmission

5R55S auto transmission. Has about 60k on it, was rebuilt less than 2k miles ago. Trans worked great until it lost 4th gear recently, may be as simple as replacing the solenoid block (avail. pretty cheap on eBay) which was not replaced during the rebuild. Would be a good deal as a possible cheap fix, or great for somebody looking for an extra unit for a built transmission. Looking to sell locally (SO Cal). Asking $350.

So, this trans was rebuilt and now 4th gear failed. Why was it rebuilt in the first place?
