I have a SCT XCAL 2 that I used on my 07 GT, it is unlocked and for sale at $250 shipped OBO.

explain the unlocked feature... does that mean that it can reload tunes over and over without refills, or can it be used on multiple cars?

When ever you flash a car with one of these tuners it locked it to that car.
Unlocked simply means that the stock tune has been returned to my car so the tuner is ready to flash another car.

I'm not sure if it will work on an 08, but i don't see why it wouldn't.
I will poke around some and see if I can find an answer.

Looks like this will only work on 1996-2007 Fords.
