Default Eleanor Grill $80

So here's the story....

bought this grill through MF and it was an obvious mistake. it is for a GT and the guy sold it to me saying it would work... being a V6er, it apparently didnt. i tried to reason with the origional owner saying that this was rediculous but in the end i got screwed. the grill is missing most of the tabs, only 2 are left. also one of the corners is broken. however, according to the origional owner of the grill, it fits perfectly in a GT- he showed me pictures of it installed on his car. i want to get what i paid for it - $80 plus shipping unless in the so cal area and would like to meet up.

I did not in any way shape or form screw you over. I told you it was broke and you knew what you were buying. You never asked if it would fit a v6 cause i do not know if it does and would have told you I don't know... But you asked if it still worked and it did as i showed you the pics of it on my car and i had no problems with it... You emailed me when you got it and was mad cause you thought it was worse than you had expected and said it was junk and you wanted a refund... At this point you had not even tried to put it on and you clearly knew what you were getting. I was not trying to screw anyone over in any way i clearly stated the broke tabs and but told you i bought it like this and had worked for a few months for me but with the gt500 front end it was no longer needed. If you would like for me to clear anything up feel free to pm me.

thanks for posting all my info up here.. and we had conversations through email and through pms on the forum and you did say that it would work for my car. now if the grill was in decent condition, i would have no problem passing it on to a GT owner..

in your ad for selling the grill all you said was that it had a couple broken tabs.

WRONG- ALL tabs with the exception of 2 were completely gone. the corner of the grill itself is wasted, and ALL of the brackets to mount the fog lights are broken. you sold me a piece of junk.

and yet knowing all that, your trying to sell it here as usable also..... Saying "according to the origanl owner this works" does not absolve you of the responsability if you clearly feel it will not. Sounds like a very crummy deal for all involved.

wont work for a v6 but obviously the grills for v6s and GTs are different. all i'm trying to do is get my money back so if you aren't inerested in the grill, keep it to yourself. if anyone has questions please ask. thanks

All i can say is you should have done your research it is not junk i had no problem using it for the 4-5 months i did! when i bought it i didn't go around bad mouthing the seller i was fine with it you bought it broke wtf did you expect? It fit perfect on my car and showed you the pics that it did so you should have done your research on it fitting a v6!

So for the record i did not try and screw anyone over its obvious the buyer did not do his research it is not my responibility to see what it fits or not...Sorry it didn't work out for you if you had a gt or done your research everything would have been gravy!
