Can anyone recommend a good performance shop in the Wilmington, NC or Myrtle Beach, SC area. I want to do the suspension mods you all are discussing, but I don't have the mechanical skills to do it myself.

Thanks.

If they are any lighter at all, it´s not enough to notice. A few ounces per side, maybe, and only half of that is "unsprung" (think suspension function here). Remember that the axle, wheels, and tires still weigh somewhere around 300 lbs . . .

IMO they´re much more of a show car kind of mod, where weight doesn´t mean anything anyway.

Just doing some research...

What's the point of upgrading the UCA, LCA and panhard bar when you can buy a watts linksuspension for a little more cash?

A Watts link itself replaces only the PHB. Control arms are essentially unrelated to either as far as function is concerned.

Not everybody needs or can appreciate the improvement a Watts link can make. Is there a particular WL kit you have in mind? Details sometimes matter more than the mere appearance of whatever item on some brag-list (aka sig).

I was looking at the Steeda watts link. It looks like it is has more solid construction that the Saleen kit.

I´ve used a 3M silicone paste from a boat supply store. For reducing squeaks, there are a few other techniques that you might also consider.
