Is there a way to use gt rotors with our stock calipers? Where can I find a bracket or adapter? If all else fails, will gt takeoff brakes from saleen work with my ABS???? I know this aint the first time this subject was discused, but the last few times all i got was a link to the saleen takeoff page, and someone talking about a "bracket".

The calipers on the v6 and GT are identical, I am sure it woulg be cheaper to buy the Saleen take offs as you get new rotors and pads and the "bracket" that you are looking for. The only thing you need to change is the bracket that mounts the caliper to the spindle, which is included in the Saleen kit.
I'd give Saleen a call directly and not order the brakes from their site, I think they are going for less then 100 bucks.

That's what I heard. Just ordered the brakes from Saleen today and will be verifying the caliper bracket part number tomorrow. I'll post it here when I get it.
alright! there is an actual bracket. the question begs to be asked, can i buy just the braket, use my stock calipers, get gt slotted rotors and pads and bolt it on in an afternoon without touching brake fluid?
GT front brake caliper bracket part number: 6R3Z*2B134*B $44.46 ea, 2 required Total $88.92. When I initially looked at the Saleen listing the text said the package includes Calipers, Rotors, Brake Pads, and Lines, but upon looking more closely at the picture the bracket it shown attached to the caliper. That will save me a bunch. [sm=happy046.gif]

WRT using your stock calipers, yes. I'm planning on just installing the disks and using the caliper mounting brackets from Saleen. As you can see above Ford charges just about as much for just the brackets as Saleen does for the whole kit. Unless you got'a have the slots and holes, you could save a bunch and street-wise have very nearly, if not exactly the same performance going with the Saleen take-offs.
$99.99 plus shipping, just bought a set yesterday. Of course if it's a Saleen add in the magazine, you could beat them up with it and see if you could save some bucks. [sm=chairshot.gif]
I ordered the brake kit from saleen about a month or so ago after seeing the magazine add. You get 2 calipers with brackets, hoses, pads and both rotors along with the dust shields. My total after shipping was $92 for all of it. Car is put away right now, but when i get around to it I will change them over. Should be able to just take caliper apart from bracket. Change the rotors and brackets and slip the caliper right back in without bleeding the brakes. I will just hold onto other parts for spares in the future. When dealing with saleen the prices on there website are definately not there best price. Watch the magazine adds or just call them direct and deal with them a bit. I first ordered my bullit wheels and tires from them which at the time were advertised for $375 plus shipping in the mags. AFter that I called to order just the body kit(fr and rr bumpers, grill/lights, and side rockers. Got them for $600 shipped. When the box arrived it also included the take off mufflers, over axle pipes, and a y pipe. Couldn't beat that deal.
