anyone else losing p/s fluid?
I've had my car for about six months and it's just a little bit above the "min" in the power steering reservoir. I have a feeling that if I bring it in, they're gonna make a face about the CAI being there and possibly being in the way of the p/s pump if that's the culprit. Also, I'm kind of lazy about bringing it in lol.
sooooooo anyone else gradually losing fluid?

I haven't been losing ps fluid. If you are worried about the CAI, why not top it off yourself and then watch it carefully to see how much it goes down? Then if it is a big problem, put your stock intake back on for service? Or if one of the techs is cool with you (like my tech) then you don't have to worry about the CAI [8D]

mine was well below min when i noticed. my car has 23k miles, i thought it was pretty weird. i brought my car to ford w/ all mods in sig, they dont care. they filled it up, and replaced my rotors for free while they were at it, and gave me a new battery since mine was leaking acid.

well I figure going from max to maybe 1/8 inch above min in six months ain't too bad. when it gets to min I'll prolly just top it off and see how it goes. I don't see any evidence of a leak.
speaking of battery acid, I saw an 06 GT the other day get towed in and the corrosion from the battery supposedly ate up the cable(s) something fierce. I'll be putting a generous coat of dielectric grease over my posts and battery terminals as soon as I lose my case of the lazies lol. It's great for preventing battery acid corrosion.
