22 inch rims!!
#43
I know that I will probably regret making this post....!
Both of my Mustangs have 22" Wheels. My wife's are even 11" wide with HRE947r. My ride has HRE 945r. I put a lot of thought and effort into the project to get them set up right. Also had to narrow both of the 8.8 rears by. 3" to get the look that I wanted.
I only wish that I could have afforded to put 20's up front!!
I love the staggered look of 20's up front and 22" in the rear. (For street applications)
If your worried about RWHP loss due to rotational mass? At least the HRE are light, but the weight of the radial belts in the tires is what kills it. Or... Just put a smaller pulley on the Supercharger and retune! LOL
If I wanted to go to the track?? I would just swap out the wheels that day.
I will admit that I still need to install my Steeda adjustable "A-arms" with the K-member in order to slam the front, however it doesn't look "that" bad?.. LOL
Sorry about the crappy pictures! I will try to find one taken at ground level pic, just after I installed the coilovers

Legend, I am not a fan of the 22's at all, but i have to admit yours does look good. You may want to keep some extra cash on hand though, those have got to be knocking your fillings loose in your teeth. I tried a set of 20's on my car and went back to the 18's because i thought the ride was a bit harsh. Seriously though, that is the first one i've seen with 22's that i would consider done "right". Nice.

Man forget what everyone says you do what you want to do man will makes you happy forget what everyone says they don't pay for your ride don't pay for anything you pay for it what makes you happy is all that matters if you like the way you look do it. Matter fact I'm going to put me some 22s on my Mustang because I like the way it looks I like the way it sits I don't drive really fast I'm a smooth driver so and that's what makes me happy I don't care what anyone says it's what I like

Are these people Trolls? I can't understand how anyone can not notice that the post they are responding to is years old. I see it on several forums. Some kind of sick sense of humor maybe?
