.......got alignment plates and a bumpsteer guage?
Hi RodeoFlyer,
Never had a set of turntables of my ownbut I used to use a toe gauge I made up out of a scrap piece of 2" aluminum box tubingwith somesteel rods attached to a couple of short sections of slightly larger box tubing (with thumbscrews to lock them in place),acting as a slider to measure toe on a chalk line I put on each tire. These daysI just take the car to Marlo's of if I have to I'lluse a tape measure and an attachment ona portable camber gauge I borrow fromafriend of mine.
Cheers!

I guess that's better than a roll of string, framing square, tape measure, and torpedo level. oh and beer lol
Hi RodeoFlyer,
LOL! I like used to roll the front tiresto put chalk lines on them. Then I used a piece of 3-5# monofilament flyfishingleader with a 13mm nut on one end to act as a plumb bob and apush pin tied to it with a small washer under the headto control the depth and stuck it into the tire on the chalk line of each tire front and back. Then I just had someone help me reada steel tape and I could get a good toe measurement by reading the front and then the rear measurements off the tape. It was pretty close. the only real advantage to my homemadetoe gauge was that I could take a toe measurement solo. The fancycamber gauge attachments work O.K. too but re obviously not as cheap as my homemade setups. The small leader withjunk nutplumb bobs was the cheapest and simplist way to get a reliable toe measurement I ever came up with that actuallyworked.
Cheers!

PowerHitter here. The dseid2account I am on nowwent down for about a month, so I created PowerHitter till the powers to be got my dseid2 account back up. Anyway, to answer your question, I really like these tires. I used to run them on my old BMW 528 too. They have good performance, a reasonable price and a tread design seems to be very good in both wet and dry conditions.
Have you thought about your brakes yet? If not I would recommend Hawk HP Plus pads. They are noisy and dusty, but what an improvementin stopping power and reduced fade. I was ready to upgrade to 14 inch rotors and 4 piston calipers, before I tried these pads. I am glad I triedthe Hawksfirst. It is not a full race set-up, but the Hawk HP Plus pads are a good choice for a street/occasional track application.
Best Regards
