Stock suspension and drifting

Stock suspension and drifting
I just bought my first Mustang in my 42 years of driving everything from XKE's to Pontiac GTO's to MGB's and more.
Anyway, I've been watching a lot of Youtube videos on drifting, and thought it looked like it would be a blast.
I'm curious, though, as to whether the factory suspension would be sufficient for this. Mine is a 2007 GT. I realize drifting is hard on a lot of parts, so it's not something I'd be doing regularly.
Any comments or suggestions are appreciated.

Something kind of like this?: Ken Block ruins a few sets of tires. FYI: I'm sure just about everyone on the internet has seen this video by now, unless you live under a rock, but it still makes me smile.
To to OP - the stock suspension will suck for drifting, the rear sway is way to wimpy. Its really hard to do a predictable, continuous slide.

Thanks for the replies.
So, aside from buying tires more often, what mods to the suspension do you folks think the car needs?
Again, I'm not going to do this often enough to burn up trannny's and other parts, but I'd like to be able to do it.
It does look like fun. Besides, I know I can't do it with the '91 Saturn I've been driving the last few years.

Plan on doing all the mods to reduce/eliminate wheel hop. You'll also want to have more rear roll stiffness relative to front roll stiffness. But don't get too carried away in a dual-purpose car (drift/DD), because a car that's too "loose" can turn and bite (BTDT, different car).
If you eventually get serious about it (or maybe even if you don't), you'll probably find that you need to be able to steer the front wheels more. Can't expect to hold the car at a 35° angle to where the "road" goes if the front wheels can only steer 30°.
