Try re-tightening the end-links. I mean seriously...tighten the hell outta them.

Default Front end noise

I have noise in the front of 07 GT as well. Had new shocks/struts and lowering springs. Had them installed. I hear a "clapping" almost like a rattle sound or somethings loose. whenever I hit bumps, irregular surfaces, at very low speeds. Doesn't affect the handling but is Very annoying I have read in the forums a popping sound is pretty common on lowered Mustangs. Most articles say the noise comes from worn out strut mounts. I haven't taken her back to the installer yet. I have seen where Steeda has a heavy duty strut mounts available. So was it the installer or the mounts?

Check this out, finally got to a dealer who knew what was up, printed out the TSB for front end noise, took it in and said fix it please, lol Anyways they could recreate issue easily, they replaced front lower control arms, front stuts, and front strut bolts and front end alignment, $1500 in repairs for $50 deductible ...... As long as you can prove out a TSB a reputable Ford dealership will fix the issue, I have had them replace: battery, shaker 500, clutch packs with TSB, print it out and say here ya go !!

That does no good to those of us who have aftermarket products in place of the oem. But, thanks anyway.

im having mine looked at this weekend, mine fell claim to this "clunking or rattling" noise. ill post up as soon as i get my stang back, but from everything ive read the issue will most likely turn out to the strut mounts.
