Default Strut Tower Brace

Anyone run across a good looking Strut Tower Brace that will fit an '09 GT with the engine cover?

I know the BMR piece fits with decent clearance. The Steeda one looks badass and is supposed to clear the plenum cover, but it usually will scrape given the movement and shaking of the engine on a regular basis.

If you're considering one, I would look at the available 3-point braces like this one:

I think either Lakewood or Edelbrock also makes a 3-point type.

The steeda brace has also been a popular seller.

the OEM Bullitt brace clears the manifold cover with no problem, it's also the same brace that FRPP sells for the V6.

Yep +1. You should also know the FRPP Strut tower brace is the same one used on the Bullitt, just instead of having the bullitt plate on it, it has a Ford Racing logo on it. That's what I have.

Thanks for the FRPP info.

Is it the one described as "2005-08 Mustang V6 Strut Tower Brace, M-20201-F" ?

that's the one, even though it's listed as the V6 brace it's the same one they use on the Bullitt except they attach a serial plate on top to cover the Ford Racing logo, when I bought mine the Bullitt brace was cheaper then the FRPP brace.
