Default SS Brakelines - dumb question

I am replacing the the stock rear brake lines with stainless steel ones. Now when you put the new lines on, do you have to wrap the fittings at each end of the line with Teflon tape?

I wouldn't but if you ever need to use teflon tape on a connection that contains a hydrocarbon fluid make sure it's the yellow variety.
