They would be a second set of tires on their own rims and used only for track days and driving to and from the track. The rest of my driving would be on my set of KDWs.

Most days next year the track is about an hour away and once in a while it will be the other track which is about 2 hours away.

A trailer is not an alternative for me as I live in an apartment and I'm also too old and "lazy" to change tires at the track.
At 5pm on a Sunday - i'm driving home on corded tires. IDGAF ; )

I've driven around on NT01's for weeks before because I was too lazy to change tires after a weekend at the track. They ride rough due to the stiff sidewalls, feel a little squiggly because they don't get up to pressure on the street, and they suck in the rain. the car on the cover of 5.0 Mustang last month is my buddy Justin. Those NT01's have been on his car for THREE YEARS!

Sounds like you found your next tire then. You'll like them, they will blow away those KDWs.
