Default Roush Suspension tire combo on stock 18 inch wheels

Since I have the 1 inch roush suspension kit now, I would like a good size tire on my 06 gt with stock 18 inch rims and have good handling without rubbing. Any opinions with this combo? Thanks.

I am running Roush rear springs with stock fronts along with 255/45/18 front and 285/40/18 rear... and have zero clearance issues. Here's how it looks

255/45/18 front and 285/40/18 are the same size tires as on the GT500 and are 27 inch diameter which is the stock diameter

In the summer I run 285/40/18 on 18 x 9.5 rims all round and they did not rub until the car was lowered. After lowering there is a slight rub at the front on full lock.

Thanks guys but im planning on keeping the stock 18's and have to take into consideration im 1 inch lower than stock with the roush suspension kit. Anyone have this set up and experienced good results with 255 and up and a 35-45 percentage tire?

You will be fine since you are staying with the stock 18" wheels. The problem comes into play when you go with aftermarket wheels with offsets that push the wheels out even with the fenders (even worse when someone uses a wheel designed for a sn95 - beyond the fender!).

The 255/45/18 is the perfect tire for a stock 18 x 8.5" wheel - same diameter as stock and looks perfect on the wheel. If you go lower than a 45 series with a 255mm tire, the wheel/tire will look very small in the wheel well.

No as these tires have the same diameter as the stock 17 in. tires (27 in.)
