Never gets below 40 here...I just look at winter as upgrade time w/o dying of heat exhaustion. I plod along in the summer 105 degree heat 24/7 dreaming of winter when I can start modding the car again . Tire pressure is critical....as I found with these new 285/40s summer tires....

Just bought the same tires. 285 & 255 like you.

These things really grip. I'm VERY happy with them so far.

No temp issues in Tampa it was 85 today.
