Default Broken Sway Bar

This actually happened about two months ago but just now got the pics on the web....

anyway, wife calls me one night about a week after getting the new car crying and saying that she broke the car. As a good husband should I asked, "is the car ok?" JK. She was claming that the car was making a rattling noise when ever she went over a bump.

Here is why:

and:

Darn thing was just hanging there. Snaped right off at the joint.

Was replaced under warranty.

Question though, they replaced the broken arm not the whole assembly but the arm is a white or grey color. is this normal? do I have to paint that thing myself or should they have ordered a black one to match the rest of the sway bar?

You can paint the link, but I'm not sure if it comes that way, or if they paint it at the factory.

Be happy you got the white one. The black ones are normal, while the white ones are from the vert, so stronger. I got both whites and happy with mine.

I think she may have, if you look at the first picture you can see a white scratch just to the right of the tire.....
