For the record, I am planning on a set of steeda ultra-lites and koni adjustables to get rid of the ever-present 4x4 look.

With those wheels, a 25mm spacer (~1") will very likely poke the wheels/tires out to or past the fender flares, which wouldn't be the hot tip for a lowered and still daily-driven car (can you say tire rub?). For a trailered show car, sure.

This is getting pretty picky, but it'd also soften the suspension a little, so you'd use up a tiny bit more of whatever room between the tires and the fenders was left.

As much as possible I avoid making appearance-based judgments (don't really have one here anyway), so I'm commenting strictly from practical and technical points of view.

'08 GT coupe, 5M, wheels, tires, pads, fluid, a few suspension mods . . . finally lowered (all of half an inch)

I'm a more technical based person myself... I couldn't find a good reason for it so I figured I'd ask here, good enough reason to not get it for me Thanks
