Default Help with Wheels/Tires and handling.

Ok so I'm going to be starting off with handling work, since the 5.0 is pretty beastly. Car is basically for DD w/ some track days.

I'm in love with the Boss 302 wheels that come in 19x9/10.

With the 19s should i be looking at a 40 or 35 side wall at what width, I was thinking 245-255 up front with 275-285 in the back.

LMR.com also has a set of the 19x9 with 275/35/19 tires all around shipped R2G, would that option be just as good as well as easier? As I'm finding it troublesome to actually find good sizes in 19"

are there benefits of offset wheels and tires other than traction and stance?

and lastly, after lurking for the last week I'm hoping Sam can help with this one.

i plan on getting Tokico D shocks and mating them with eibach pro springs, Is anyone running this setup? And will all this fit in the wheel well and what else will be needed? (i believe i read something about needing mounts from the 06-10 mustangs).

Thanks, yes and strong 1st posting i know

I would run same size front and rear so you can rotate. as for springs, a lot of people recommend a linear rate spring for more predictable handling.

The Boss rims from Ford Racing Performance Parts match up perfectly with the Boss/GT500 OEM sizes of 255/40x19F and 285/35x19R. Ford's already done the engineering, so take advantage of it.

As for suspension, if you're thinking about contacting Sam Strano, then just phone him and chat. You'll get excellent advice.
