Default Roebling Road 9/10-11

Spent another weekend in good ole savannah GA at roebling road. it was relatively uneventful other than my brother misshifting into 2nd on the front straight and blew up my dad's 911. ( i bet that was a long ride back to TN for them )

well... it looks like my Baer brakes have failed me again. after just 2 track weekends on them (one at Barber and the other here) there are cracks going from the drilled holes to the outer rim of the rotor and to the center hat. my weekend was cut short due to that but i still got a fair bit of track time in.

Videos All are in 1080P so be sure to enjoy them in their full glory

in this one the chief instructor decided to go out with his 1000 HP supra. he passes me like i'm standing still at about 14 min. just an amazingly quick car.

A fellow Mustanger in this one ('11 V6 PP). This really shows how little the extra HP actually helps on this track. It's all about the transitions, too bad i added 100 LB over the front wheels :/

Ouch, blew the motor on a 911. That won't be a cheap repair. Nice vids, thanks for posting. What camera are you using and where is it mounted? I have a sony HD camera mounted on a harness bar and it gives me about the same field. Wish I could get a wider angle. Can you get some solid rotors (non drilled) that will work with those calipers?

It's an '87 911 it shouldn't be too bad. (its on the trailer at the beginning of the last video)

i have a Go pro HD mounted on my windshield.

i am looking for replacement rotors now. what i need to research is what rotors will work. the baer rotors are 14 inch diameter, or roughly 355.6 mm. problem being everyone else offers either 355 mm or 356 mm rotors (everyone else meaning AP, and Brembo). I'm not sure if that's "close enough" or not.
