What is the major difference b/w the Multi-Pro R2 Coil-over kit $2,199 & Coil-over kit--KW Variant 3 $2,199 on Strano site?

http://www.stranoparts.com/searchbym...216&ModelID=35

They’re both adjustable for compression, rebound and height.

The spring rates are quite different. KW's are firmer and more what you want for track and autocross work. The Eibach's use spring rates that are softer than the Pro-kit (similar to the Steeda Sport springs).

Of course the Eibach's have bottles/remove reservoirs, the KW's do not... And in the end, I find the KW's have better control. Really it's about ride quality vs. performance. KW's don't ride badly, but the Eibachs' are softer and less sporting.

Both have adjustable dampers. KW's are independently adjustable for compression and rebound each, Steeda's have one adjuster that changes both simultaneously. Also, KW's while adjustable for height are still lower than stock even set at their highest. The Steeda's can be set to a more stock height, and don't go as low. The Eibach's have the greatest range of adjustment, the softest spring rates overall, independently adjustable compression and rebound. But, I tend to prefer the KW valving a little better....

Anyway, as you can see we have options.
So.
Damn.
Useful.

So much detail in such a post. Time for me to start looking around. I'm in the same boat as the OP, except with a 2010 V6, can you recommend some kits? I also need to return to stock ride height in the winter.

Seriously guys... call me. Anyone can get on the web and claim almost anything. Meanwhile, anyone can get on the web and start spewing answers like they know it all (and there are few here who do that intermixed with what's mostly good advice).

My business is to help with setup, and sell the parts. I don't want to sell you stuff that won't work for your needs, because then I didn't do a very good job supporting the customer's needs. I have yet to have an e-mail exchange of idea's that's as good a person to person discussion.
